This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure the accuracy of financial and accounting records.

• Document and classify income, expenses, invoices, and payments.

• Perform reconciliations for bank and credit card accounts.

• Generate monthly financial statements and management reports.

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Aid in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial forecasting.

• Examine financial transactions for precision and thoroughness.

• Keep organized documentation and supporting financial records.

• Assist in payroll-related accounting and expense monitoring.

• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Detect discrepancies and address accounting issues promptly.

• Supply financial data and reports to management upon request.

• Uphold the confidentiality of the company’s financial information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or a related field.

• Comprehensive understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or equivalent accounting software.

• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient in meeting deadlines and managing various priorities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.

• CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications are preferred.

• Experience with small businesses, educational institutions, or service-oriented organizations is preferred.

• Background in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management is preferred.

• Availability during U.S. business hours is preferred.
