This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Take ownership of reviewing and reconciling individual branch profit and loss statements.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and branch leadership to confirm expenses, allocations, revenue, compensation, and other financial activities.
• Investigate and resolve inconsistencies between anticipated and actual branch expenses.
• Establish standardized procedures for reviewing branch financials and pinpointing errors.
• Preserve documentation related to expense allocations and financial assumptions.
• Generate monthly financial reports at the branch level, covering revenue, expenses, payroll, cost per unit, revenue per unit, contribution margin, profitability, break-even production, budget versus actuals, and trends.
• Construct dynamic financial models to analyze branch profitability, new location projections, recruitment and hiring economics, compensation, headcount, forecasting, costs, marketing return on investment, occupancy, margins, and profitability scenarios.
• Develop scenario models to assess changes in production, staffing, compensation, expenses, and other factors.
• Evaluate the financial implications of business decisions and pinpoint opportunities for profitability and resource allocation.
• Identify break-even points, risks, and anticipated returns for investments or initiatives.
• Create and maintain executive dashboards and branch scorecards.
• Consolidate financial and operational data from various systems to minimize manual reporting.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance analysis, reporting, reconciliation, and forecasting.
• Recognize repetitive processes suitable for automation and assess tools that enhance reporting speed, accuracy, data quality, and decision-making.
• Over 5 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance, accounting analytics, business intelligence, or a comparable analytical role.
• Strong comprehension of profit and loss statements, general ledger activities, expense allocations, accruals, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including complex formulas, financial models, scenario analysis, pivot tables, and management of large datasets.
• Experience in creating dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or other similar business intelligence tools.
• Proficient working knowledge of AI tools with a proven ability to utilize AI to enhance analytical or reporting processes.
• Experience in merging and analyzing data from multiple sources.
• Capability to convert complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations for executives and non-financial leaders.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to detect inconsistencies and challenge dubious data.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in supporting multi-location, distributed, franchise, retail, or other organizations with branch- or unit-level financial reporting is highly favored.
