This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Contribute independently to the Finance & Treasury Administration function.
• Collaborate with the Vice President of Finance & Treasury Administration.
• Aid in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning efforts.
• Generate management reports, schedules, presentations, and executive summaries.
• Evaluate financial information for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and any unusual activity.
• Oversee financial deliverables and ensure timely follow-up with internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate the enhancement of financial processes and reporting.
• Support banking administration, account maintenance, updates for authorized signers, and related documentation.
• Assist with cash-management tasks, treasury reporting, and maintaining banking relationships.
• Coordinate requests and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready files and compliance records.
• Assist in documenting, monitoring, and improving internal controls and finance procedures.
• Monitor critical deadlines and escalate risks, delays, or missing information as needed.
• Coordinate finance-related projects and cross-functional initiatives from inception to completion.
• Track project milestones, action items, owners, dependencies, and deadlines.
• Prepare status reports and communicate progress, risks, and necessary decisions.
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, standardize processes, strengthen controls, and minimize manual work.
• Assist with the implementation of new systems, reporting tools, workflows, and business processes.
• Create leadership presentations, meeting materials, reports, and decision-support documents.
• Draft professional correspondence, summaries, procedures, and business communications.
• Maintain departmental documentation, calendars, trackers, files, and recurring schedules.
• Provide administrative and analytical support for special projects and other priorities.
• Ensure that financial, treasury, audit, compliance, and project deliverables are organized and completed punctually.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field is preferred.
• At least five years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, treasury, business operations, project coordination, or a related field.
• Experience in preparing or reviewing financial reports and supporting senior leadership.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting solutions, or business-intelligence tools is preferred.
• Experience in supporting audits, compliance activities, treasury operations, or multi-entity organizations is preferred.
• Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to understand financial statements and investigate variances.
• Exceptional organizational skills, prioritization abilities, and follow-through.
• Capability to manage multiple deadlines independently while exercising sound judgment.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including communication with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• High levels of accuracy, attention to detail, professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Proactive ownership mindset with the ability to influence progress without direct authority.
• Ability to learn new systems and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
