Finance Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily accounting operations for various companies within the OneQrew Group independently.

• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting tasks.

• Administer payment transactions and collection processes.

• Assist in and actively engage in monthly and annual closings in compliance with HGB.

• Prepare and deliver monthly reports, focusing on VAT advance returns and recapitulative statements (ZM).

• Perform account reconciliations, especially for intercompany accounts and fixed-asset accounting.

• Act as a liaison for tax advisors and auditors.

• Aid in the enhancement and automation of accounting processes.

• Support the establishment of effective, group-wide finance standards.

• Contribute to stabilizing and further refining finance procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed commercial vocational training, preferably as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellter), or further education in finance and accounting.

• Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally a minimum of five years.

• Strong practical expertise in preparing monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB.

• Knowledge of tax legislation.

• Ideally possesses experience in managing multiple companies or complex accounting frameworks.

• Proficient in DATEV.

• Excellent skills in Excel.

• Independent, structured, and process-driven work approach.

• High degree of accuracy, reliability, and initiative.

• Team-oriented with the capability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.

• Excellent German language proficiency.

• English language skills are advantageous.
