This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation and electrical systems.

• Read, interpret, and understand P&IDs, loop drawings, installation details, layout drawings, and construction documents.

• Complete assigned tasks in accordance with construction project specifications.

• Mechanically and electrically install control panels and instrumentation.

• Set up rigid, EMT, PVC-coated rigid conduit, service feeders, and branch circuits.

• Install controls, fiber, network cabling, stainless tubing, and instrumentation.

• Set up service equipment, MCCs, and panelboards.

• Conduct field wiring for control panels and instrumentation.

• Install, calibrate, and commission pressure, flow, level, temperature, and analytical instruments.

• Aid in troubleshooting instrumentation, control valves, process controllers, PLC hardware, and control systems.

• Assist with the repair, testing, and installation of control panels, PLCs, I/O modules, and communications equipment.

• Uphold behaviors that reflect Safety as a Personal Core Value.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician license is preferred, though not mandatory.

• A two-year Associate’s degree in Automation & Controls, Instrumentation, or a related technical program is highly preferred.

• At least 2 years of industrial electrical power and controls field experience is preferred.

• Ability to work safely and contribute to a safety-oriented team environment.

• ISA CCST certification is preferred.

• Willingness to learn and work hands-on in the field alongside engineers and technicians.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team.

• Familiarity and exposure to field instruments, electronic testing equipment, control valves, and control panels.

• Proficient in using basic hand and power tools, ladders, manlifts, etc.

• Must be adaptable and willing to travel out-of-town with regular overnight stays.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, and drive regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Should be able to pass a fit-for-duty physical exam when required.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests.

• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored visa support.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
