This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver local field services along with regional and national installation, supervision, and quality assurance support.
• Conduct field operations at customer locations while acting as the installer and overseeing subcontractors.
• Ensure that field activities are performed safely, punctually, and in accordance with the defined scope of work.
• Cultivate and sustain reliable relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Forge alliances and partnerships with subcontractors.
• Enhance customer satisfaction and net promoter scores (NPS).
• Complete client and company checklists, capture photos, and record test results electronically within 24 hours of job completion.
• Keep Project Managers updated on job progress and any issues encountered.
• Provide after-hours or emergency services as required.
• Conduct surveys and quality audits.
• Adhere to company policies, standards, controls, and utilize app-based tools.
• Install cabling infrastructure, which includes single/multi-mode fiber, copper Category 3/5e/6 cabling, 18/2 twisted pair, racks/cabinets, and grounding systems.
• Install, troubleshoot, and service point of sale (POS) systems, CCTV, video monitoring, security systems, computer equipment, and low-voltage cabling.
• Install equipment within furniture, cabinets, and closets.
• Set up high-speed circuits, routers, switches, and modems, including Cisco and Adtran devices.
• Maintain a company-assigned fleet vehicle.
• Proven experience in working with subcontractors.
• Extensive experience with installation, termination, and testing of cabling infrastructure.
• Experience in installing, programming, and servicing telephone, PBX, and key systems.
• Experience in installing, troubleshooting, and servicing at least two of the following: POS systems, CCTV, video monitoring, security systems, computer equipment, and low-voltage cabling.
• Familiarity with high-speed circuits, routers, switches, and modems.
• Knowledge of Cisco and Adtran high-speed circuits, routers, and switches.
• Capability to log in to network equipment via a GUI or command line using PuTTY or a similar terminal emulator.
• Understanding of IP subnetting.
• Knowledge of wireless networking, particularly with tools like Ekahau and AirMagnet.
• Some experience with desktop and laptop support.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in the proper use of basic hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Familiarity with time tracking software.
• Intermediate skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Proficient in English.
• Willingness to travel by car and plane 100% of the time.
• Ability to carry necessary tools and materials, with a lifting capacity of up to 80 lbs.
• Comfortable using ladders of 6, 8, 10, and 12 feet, as well as scissor and boom lifts.
