This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Install, align, maintain, and troubleshoot fixed wireless broadband infrastructure, which includes antennas, waveguides, microwave dishes, wireless backhaul systems, routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Deploy and provide support for wireless networking solutions using Juniper, Ruckus, Cambium, and other similar enterprise-class networking platforms.
• Conduct antenna alignment, RF testing, signal analysis, microwave link validation, and optimization of wireless networks.
• Install and maintain wireless infrastructure on rooftops, building mounts, and elevated structures.
• Diagnose connectivity issues, RF performance, and network service disruptions affecting customers and network operations.
• Pull, terminate, test, and certify Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, Cat7, and fiber optic cables.
• Install and troubleshoot low-voltage telecommunications systems, fiber optic, and structured cabling.
• Rack, stack, label, and assist in troubleshooting network switching and routing equipment within MDF and IDF environments.
• Execute network testing and diagnostics to detect and resolve service-impacting problems.
• Carry out property assessments, site surveys, launch readiness evaluations, and serviceability reviews.
• Perform Wi-Fi heat mapping, analyze wireless coverage, and conduct quality assurance inspections.
• Ensure that installations comply with company quality standards and meet customer expectations.
• Adhere to and enforce safety regulations while working on rooftops, ladders, elevated structures, and telecommunications equipment.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and inventory.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours troubleshooting and emergency service restoration.
• Operate safely and effectively in diverse weather conditions and field environments.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• 2–3 years of experience in roles such as Wireless Technician, Telecommunications Technician, Tower Technician, Low Voltage Technician, or a similar position.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment.
• Experience in installing and supporting fixed wireless broadband networks is preferred.
• Practical experience with antennas, waveguides, microwave dishes, wireless backhaul systems, switches, WAPs, and wireless routers is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Juniper switches, Ruckus wireless solutions, Cambium equipment, and enterprise networking technologies is preferred.
• Working knowledge of RF technologies, microwave communications, Wi-Fi, and WiMAX networks is preferred.
• Experience working on rooftops, towers, or elevated communications structures is preferred.
• Experience with fiber optics, AC/DC power systems, and low-voltage telecommunications infrastructure is preferred.
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi heat mapping, signal testing, and wireless coverage validation is preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification is preferred.
