Field Services Technician 2 – Nights

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Perform both corrective and preventive maintenance on Cubic equipment.

• Respond efficiently to equipment repair needs and adhere to maintenance protocols.

• Actively participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Reduce downtime during fault callouts to ensure operational efficiency.

• Support equipment installation processes.

• Adhere to Health and Safety regulations and quality standards.

• Manage the delivery and collection of equipment modules.

• Assist with project work led by Management.

• Serve as a deputy for the Field Service Team Leader when necessary.

• Conduct vehicle stock assessments.

• Follow company policies and procedures diligently.

• Maintain the assigned vehicle and ensure FORs accreditation is upheld.

• Repair and maintain Cubic equipment on Transport for London and National Rail infrastructure.

• Deliver outstanding customer service.

• Engage with transportation technologies such as automated fare collection and contactless payment systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in a technical service or maintenance environment.

• Relevant engineering qualification.

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

• Valid UK driving license.

• HNC or equivalent qualification in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).

• Familiarity with SLA-driven contracts (preferred).

• Willingness to work a permanent night shift with a 4x4 night schedule.

• Must maintain the assigned vehicle and uphold FORs accreditation.
