Field Services Manager – P&C

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Direct, oversee, and ensure accountability for staff within a designated Field Services region.

• Serve as an extension of the Area Manager to execute Field Services organizational policies and strategies.

• Take ownership of safety performance for the designated service area.

• Conduct quality, safety, and human performance observations in the field.

• Guide and mentor field service supervisors and staff.

• Provide oversight for scheduling of regional projects.

• Partner with the training team to deliver both internal and external training.

• Collaborate with Project Management to ensure projects remain within budget.

• Act as a liaison with client management to ensure satisfaction with completed work.

• Participate in weekly Level 10 meetings on behalf of the Area Manager as required.

• Build and maintain effective client relationships.

• Assist in preparing or writing estimates and responding to bids.

• Work with the recruiting team to make hiring decisions.

• Assign projects to field service personnel.

• Organize and lead regular team meetings to communicate regional issues, updates, and resolutions.

• Carry out other region-specific responsibilities as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Protection and Control Testing and Commissioning Field Role.

• At least 5 years of management experience within the energy sector.

• Preferred experience in substation commissioning; SCADA, fault data, SER, and integration-automation equipment installation and testing; project management; power systems; power generation; or utility management.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Proven successful experience in field supervision and leadership for project execution.

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage employee relations and change management initiatives.

• In-depth technical understanding of protection and control fundamentals and/or electrical apparatus and testing practices related to electric utilities and power systems.

• A focus on safety, quality, and human performance.

• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
