This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Address daily service repair requirements and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Install, repair, and maintain equipment in the field.
• Provide necessary training to customers.
• Document inspections, maintenance, and repair activities, ensuring timely submission of paperwork.
• Manage the ordering, installation, and return of parts while overseeing the repair-parts cycle time.
• Review logs for outstanding issues and compile customer reports.
• Engage in Service Sales opportunities and contribute to revenue programs.
• Maintain and calibrate tools and testing equipment.
• Evaluate equipment performance and suggest modifications or enhancements.
• Offer technical support to customers and fellow service professionals.
• Take part in site surveys, pilot service activities, and meetings.
• Maintain open lines of communication with senior Field Service Engineers and Product Managers.
• Control and reduce costs effectively.
• Adhere to company health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Follow applicable U.S. export control and security regulations.
• Associate’s Degree, relevant trade certification, or military training in electrical, electronic, or mechanical disciplines.
• Equivalent experience through 1–3 years of similar work and life experience is acceptable in a related electrical or mechanical field service role.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electronic systems and equipment in the field.
• Proficient in computer applications and all programs in the MS Office Suite.
• Ability to learn specialized software applications.
• Basic understanding of Trace and X-Ray technologies.
• Strong communication skills, with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
• Responsive to customer concerns at all times.
• Willingness and capability to travel on short notice.
• Must be able to pass TSA vetting and a federal background check for Sensitive Security Information access.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, telephone, and customer service capabilities.
• Capacity to multitask and manage stressful situations effectively.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs.
• Capability to push or pull up to 200 lbs.
• Ability to move or manipulate equipment weighing up to 1,000 lbs. with the aid of specified devices.
• Ability to perform frequent bending, stooping, twisting, turning, and work in unconventional positions.
• Ability to work safely in extreme environments around hazardous industrial equipment.
• Must comply with drug-testing requirements where permitted by law.
