Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Execute customer installations, maintenance, and service calls in a prompt and effective manner.

• Service electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, within a designated territory.

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls.

• Engage in open and effective communication with customers to identify and resolve issues.

• Provide solutions based on training received from NCR Voyix.

• Represent the NCR Voyix brand and contribute to the smooth operation of global commerce.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a local candidate within the specified geographic area.

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Minimum age of 18 years.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets NCR fleet standards.

• Proficient in PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiar with specific hardware and operating systems.

• Capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Willingness to travel extensively, including driving several hours daily.

• Availability for rotating shifts and weekend work.

• Flexible work hours, including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, with some holidays.

• Ability to lift and carry tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.

• Capable of bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, working with hands, and repetitively grasping and manipulating objects.

• Employment offers are contingent upon passing relevant screening criteria.

• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software is preferred.

• A+ Certification, CompTIA, and N+ Certification are preferred.

• One or more years of related experience is preferred.
