This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the subject matter expert for product lines by coaching and mentoring both internal and partner technicians during installations and repairs.
• Lead specialized projects that necessitate advanced technical knowledge.
• Identify technical deficiencies and actively seek out solutions.
• Provide both remote and on-site support and repairs to clients across Mexico, North America, and South America.
• Utilize KT methodology, along with data and problem analysis, to resolve intricate service issues.
• Maintain communication with the Technical Service Manager, Regional Service Manager, and Technical Phone Support.
• Foster robust customer relationships.
• Conduct pre-installation assessments and site inspections for equipment.
• Complete and submit documentation related to service activities.
• Oversee and manage the return of parts.
• Execute and fulfill preventative maintenance obligations.
• Participate in global training sessions.
• Collaborate with product manufacturers, including those based overseas.
• Facilitate technical training sessions for technicians.
• Support sales initiatives through demonstrations and customer interactions.
• Monitor key accounts and engage in support activities for swift problem resolution.
• Relay technical concerns to the Technical Service Manager and the technical support team.
• Execute additional responsibilities as directed by the manager.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of 8 years of field service experience with relevant industry product lines.
• An associate degree in electronics or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in the field.
• Field service experience with toner-based production machinery.
• In-depth understanding of electronics.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in operating systems and hardware.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Possession of a valid state driver's license (Real ID compliant).
• Valid passport.
• Willing to travel extensively (up to 70%).
• Ready to work weekends and overtime as required for installations, service calls, and training sessions.
