Field Service Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee field service technicians in compliance with Company policies and procedures to effectively and safely meet Company and Division goals.

• Set job expectations, evaluate job performance, review compensation matters, and offer coaching and training.

• Authorize and coordinate planned activities for field service technicians, including on-call schedules.

• Direct the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives at the division level.

• Guide Field Service delivery and manage the customer experience for assigned Key Account customers.

• Handle supplier relationships and oversee the service performance of authorized service providers in the region.

• Address service incidents or challenges involving Company personnel.

• Act as the field service representative for the designated area, which includes reviewing scopes of work, engaging in project calls and meetings, and interacting with customers and external partners.

• Collaborate on the development of field service processes and procedures.

• Analyze field service reports and create activity reports and assessments.

• Assist with site needs and requirements for scheduled tasks.

• Ensure the achievement of target metrics related to field service performance.

• Manage inventoried items and fixed assets within the assigned service area.

• Provide support to the Field Service Manager as required.

• Promote the goals and a positive, professional image of the Division through effective interactions with customers and internal departments and divisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a field service technician and at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role, or equivalent education and experience.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and bills of material.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills necessary to engage with customers, employees, and suppliers.

• Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office products and MRP/ERP systems.
