Field Service Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Hatchery Inovo Process for Zoetis by implementing Best-in-Class Customer Service Programs.

• Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in poultry hatcheries.

• Execute emergency repairs at customer sites as necessary.

• Carry out scheduled Preventive Maintenance on all assigned Biodevices.

• Provide electrical and mechanical assistance and perform emergency repairs.

• Interpret and adhere to Electrical Schematics.

• Participate in Territory After Hours Support and Repairs.

• Maintain communication with assigned hatcheries.

• Complete relevant reporting forms and procedures, including scheduling visits, customer site contacts, parts usage priorities, site cart management, certification program, vehicle, and equipment maintenance.

• Manage the Hatchery Inovo Process for 3 to 5 hatcheries within an assigned territory.

• Administer the Zoetis Operator Training Program for over 25 customer employees.

• Facilitate vaccine and sanitation preparation for all Zoetis Devices.

• Support and conduct the Zoetis Process Evaluation Program.

• Gather and report essential information within the Zoetis FieldAware System.

• Adhere to all safety and precautionary procedures.

• Maintain consistent communication with the supervisor.

• Perform additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree in Electro/Mechanical Systems or a related field, and/or a bachelor's degree in poultry science or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

• Relevant experience may be accepted in place of formal education.

• Typically requires 1 to 5 years of pertinent experience.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.

• Strong organizational skills are essential.

• Self-motivated and proactive individual.

• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and initiative.

• Effective communication skills are required to engage directly with various levels of customer management.

• Basic computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Willingness to work outside of regular hours due to On-Call responsibilities that exceed a 40-hour work week.

• Ability to lift over 25 pounds.

• Periodic overnight travel is necessary.

• All applicants must possess or obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.
