Field Service Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Hatchery Inovo Process for Zoetis.

• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on designated Biodevices.

• Provide electrical and mechanical assistance, and carry out emergency repairs at customer sites.

• Interpret and adhere to electrical schematics.

• Engage in after-hours support and repairs for the territory.

• Maintain communication with assigned hatcheries.

• Complete various reporting forms and procedures, which include scheduling visits, customer site contacts, prioritizing parts usage, managing site carts, certification programs, and upkeep of vehicles and equipment.

• Oversee the Hatchery Inovo Process within an assigned region of 3–5 hatcheries.

• Manage the Zoetis Operator Training Program for over 25 customer employees.

• Facilitate the preparation of vaccines and sanitation for Zoetis devices.

• Support and implement the Zoetis Process Evaluation Program.

• Gather and report crucial information within the Zoetis FieldAware System.

• Adhere to all safety and precautionary protocols.

• Maintain regular communication with the supervisor.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree in Electro/Mechanical Systems or a related field, and/or a bachelor’s degree in poultry science or similar from an accredited institution.

• Relevant experience may be accepted in place of educational qualifications.

• Typically requires 1–5 years of relevant experience.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, judgment, and initiative.

• Effective communication skills for direct interaction with various levels of customer management.

• Basic computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Availability for non-standard working hours due to on-call responsibilities beyond a 40-hour work week.

• Capability to lift over 25 pounds.

• Occasional overnight travel may be required.

• All candidates must possess or obtain authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.
