Field Service Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Install and set up new systems.

• Conduct regular maintenance and repair activities on systems.

• Offer technical remote assistance for systems.

• Diagnose system issues and identify the root causes of failures.

• Complete documentation for maintenance and service reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Computer Engineering (Bachelor's preferred).

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in field service for medical systems (imaging; 5+ years in MRI preferred).

• Knowledge of multidisciplinary capital equipment service.

• Strong technical understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Proficiency in resolving hardware electronics issues (both analog and digital).

• Capability to troubleshoot software and networking problems.

• Ability to interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formats.

• Hands-on approach to work.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Willingness to work 2nd and 3rd shifts.

• Willingness to travel approximately 80% of the time.
