Field Service Representative – Medical Equipment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Install, repair, and maintain medical and ophthalmic devices.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.

• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections of equipment.

• Collaborate directly with customers to resolve technical concerns.

• Manage inventory of parts, tools, and services.

• Record service activities and maintain precise service documentation.

• Travel extensively within the designated territory, with occasional nationwide trips.

• Provide support for advanced medical and ophthalmic equipment across Pennsylvania, Ohio, nearby regions, and at times, other parts of the United States.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a resident of Pennsylvania.

• 6–10 years of experience in field service.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with biomedical equipment.

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in servicing, maintaining, or repairing medical devices.

• A technical background in field service and troubleshooting of equipment.

• Proficient in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues.

• Quick learner with the ability to adapt.

• Strong communication skills for customer interactions.

• Capable of working independently and taking responsibility for the role.

• Willingness and capacity for extensive travel, including over 90% travel and occasional nationwide trips.

• Valuable related experience in servicing and repairing industrial equipment, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, military technical maintenance, or customer-facing technical support roles.

• Ophthalmic experience is not mandatory; training will be provided.
