Field Service Representative II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment at client sites utilizing tools, parts, and technical schematics.

• Conduct on-site preventive maintenance and inspection service tasks.

• Deliver call-out services and commissioning activities on turbomachinery and packaged systems.

• Employ test equipment, schematics, and manufacturer specifications to identify malfunctions.

• Under supervision, utilize hand tools, gauges, and instruments to diagnose, repair, or replace defective components.

• Leverage digital tools and systems.

• Monitor and identify common sources of issues, including dirty or defective parts.

• Clean and lubricate equipment under supervision.

• Under guidance, carry out routine installations and adjustments of equipment.

• Provide support to the local customer base in Wisconsin or Missouri.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

• Understanding of customer service principles and techniques; capability to meet or surpass customer expectations.

• Initiative and ability to proactively seek work and achieve objectives.

• Familiarity with problem-solving strategies, tools, and methodologies.

• Knowledge of machinery utilized in power plants; ability to perform preventive maintenance and repair or replace damaged mechanical components.

• Awareness of mechanical equipment and preventive maintenance in oil and gas sectors.

• Capability to repair or replace defective mechanical parts used in the exploration, production, or refining of hydrocarbons.

• Understanding of oil and gas safety protocols, practices, considerations, and regulatory standards.

• Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC); ability to design, implement, and operate automated process controls.

• Knowledge of troubleshooting methods, tools, and techniques.

• Must successfully complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screening and physical fitness assessment.

• Clean driving record: no moving violations in the last 12 months, no “2 point” infractions within the last 3 years, and no DUIs in the last 7 years.

• Capable of obtaining a legal Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
