This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +4 more states.
• Lead and implement seasonal go-to-market strategies and service plans within designated distribution channels and territories.
• Provide support to retailers through in-person visits, demonstrations, sales-floor assistance, and participation in local expos.
• Conduct product presentations to inform and inspire retail staff and customers.
• Engage community and retail partners to enhance brand visibility and excitement.
• Execute merchandising and promotional activities using products and point-of-purchase materials.
• Deliver educational content and product presentations for Balega, TriggerPoint, and RockTape at REI and Scheels.
• Represent Balega at local and select national events, races, and expos.
• Complete detailed field activity reports following field visits.
• Maintain field assets and product samples responsibly.
• Manage travel, expenses, promotional materials, and samples efficiently.
• Align in-field efforts with seasonal go-to-market strategies and sales objectives.
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives on territory service strategies.
• Partner with the Field Service Team on educational initiatives and activations.
• Gather and communicate feedback regarding products, competitors, and industry trends.
• Provide social media content for review and dissemination.
• Travel throughout the MidAtlantic region, covering areas as far south as Richmond, north as Buffalo, and west as Pittsburgh.
• 2–3 years of experience in marketing, sales, running, or outdoor specialty sectors.
• Knowledge of the Balega product line.
• Strong skills in time management, planning, and organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Experience directly engaging with consumers, fitting, and selling technical footwear, insoles, and socks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Outlook.
• Self-motivated and proactive individual.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field OR 2 years of relevant experience and professional accomplishments.
• Willingness to travel frequently, typically 2–3 days a week, including weekends.
• Availability to work on weekends.
• Ability to travel up to 60%, with increased activity during spring and fall seasons.
• Capability to observe details at close range.
• Effective communication skills with co-workers, customers, and vendors.
• Proficient in using telephone, copier, computer, and office systems.
• Ability to remain stationary for 50–75% of the time.
• Capability to occasionally lift boxes weighing up to 25 lbs., with or without accommodations.
• Remote (Home-Based) work arrangement.
• Frequent travel to assigned accounts, events, races, and expos.
