Field Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment at customer sites utilizing tools, parts, and technical diagrams.

• Conduct on-site preventive maintenance and inspection service tasks.

• Execute call-out services and commissioning activities for turbomachinery and package systems.

• Employ test equipment, schematics, and manufacturers’ specifications to identify malfunctions.

• Analyze, repair, or replace defective components using hand tools, gauges, and instruments under supervision.

• Make use of digital tools and systems.

• Inspect for common issues, including dirty or defective components.

• Clean and lubricate equipment with guidance.

• Carry out routine installations and equipment adjustments under supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

• Familiarity with customer service concepts and techniques.

• Initiative and the ability to pursue work and achieve goals.

• Proficiency in problem-solving strategies, tools, and methodologies.

• Understanding of machinery used in power plants, along with preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical parts.

• Knowledge of mechanical equipment and preventive maintenance in oil and gas settings.

• Awareness of oil and gas safety procedures, practices, regulations, and hazard response protocols.

• Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).

• Knowledge of troubleshooting methods, tools, and techniques in a manufacturing environment.

• Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screening and physical fitness assessment.

• Clean driving record: no moving violations in the past 12 months, no “2 point” violations in the last 3 years, and no DUIs in the last 7 years.

• Capable of obtaining a legal Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
