This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Assist with product installations and start-ups while providing on-site and remote troubleshooting for Electrolux Professional equipment.
• Record technical observations and offer feedback to Quality for ongoing improvements.
• Gather, document, and communicate technical and field data to relevant stakeholders.
• Analyze electrical schematics, drawings, specifications, and documentation related to components, products, and electrical designs.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders throughout the development and approval phases.
• Visit job sites to carry out technical tasks that support customer relations and resolve issues.
• Plan, execute, and assess field tests for product feasibility and market readiness.
• Create, sustain, and deliver training programs and service documentation for equipment.
• Aid in the development and execution of Customer Care programs.
• Conduct audits of Service Partners to ensure compliance with policies, parts availability, technical capability, and brand representation.
• Advocate for safety rules, regulations, and best work practices.
• Address customer inquiries and service requirements.
• Provide technical analysis and documentation for warranty claim assessments.
• Complete assigned safety and quality-related equipment programs within the designated timeframe.
• Maintain service literature and bulletins while distributing relevant updates to Service Partners.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
• High school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum two-year technical school certificate, military technical training, or equivalent practical technical experience.
• At least three years of hands-on experience in field service, technical service, industrial maintenance, commercial equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, appliances, foodservice equipment, or commercial laundry.
• A minimum of two years in a lead, supervisory, field service management, technical support, training, service operations, or customer escalation position.
• Proficient in troubleshooting electromechanical systems, high-voltage equipment, control systems, gas and electric heating systems, plumbing and drain systems, connectivity, and equipment software or firmware issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills along with a solid discipline for remote work.
• Capability to work independently while staying aligned with a distributed team.
• Preferred experience in commercial laundry, foodservice equipment, HVAC, industrial equipment, connected equipment, payment platforms, or distributor-based service networks.
• Advanced skills in electrical troubleshooting, including reading schematics and utilizing meters, manometers, diagnostic software, error logs, and connected-equipment dashboards.
• Preferred familiarity with networking, remote diagnostics, connected-service platforms, service-management systems, CRM, ERP, warranty systems, SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Copilot or other AI platforms.
• Experience in developing technical training, facilitating classroom or virtual instruction, coaching technicians, and creating service documentation.
• Strong skills in organization, project management, data collection, and reporting.
• A valid driver’s license and passport are required.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% across the Americas, primarily within the United States and Canada.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
