Field Service Maintenance Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Repair, install, and oversee spare parts for machinery.

• Initiate the startup of both simple and complex equipment.

• Manage job-related resources, such as the company vehicle and tools.

• Prepare reports on service interventions.

• Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning tasks.

• Review the schedule provided by the Customer Service department.

• Assess the type of intervention needed, the number of machines involved, and the working conditions required.

• Install and commission straightforward equipment.

• Provide training to customers on the operation of both simple and complex equipment.

• Ensure that suitable working conditions are established and request the area to be made safe when necessary.

• Identify future needs or necessary interventions to begin preparing a quotation.

• Manage spare parts and document activity reports.

• Verify spare parts availability against physical inventory and gather the required components.

• Maintain work equipment in good condition or arrange for repairs when needed, including the vehicle, phone, computer, and toolbox.

⛳️ Requirements

• Vocational baccalaureate or a two-year technical degree (BTS) in electromechanics, or an equivalent qualification.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and layout plans.

• Proficient in mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, with a preference for knowledge in automation.

• Capable of working independently to maximize efficiency.

• Knowledge of English is a plus.

• Willingness to be away from home for 3 to 4 nights each week.
