Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Install and commission sorting machinery at client locations

• Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting tasks

• Provide training for operators and maintenance staff

• Offer technical support to customers

• Act as a reliable representative of TOMRA in the field

• Execute preventive maintenance and service tasks for clients in the Rennes area

• Deliver operator training following machine installations

• Occasionally travel to assist customers in other regions of France

• Prepare for customer meetings from a home office

• Complete service documentation and update technical records

• Offer remote technical assistance when necessary

• Support clients across Brittany and nearby areas, with occasional assistance in other parts of France

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical degree (BAC+2 or equivalent) in Electrotechnics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, Electronics, or a similar field

• Practical experience in electrical fault diagnosis and electromechanical troubleshooting

• Proficient in French

• Capable of effective communication in English in a technical and professional setting

• Previous experience in Field Service, on-site maintenance, commissioning, installation, or technical support with travel is highly desirable

• Demonstrated experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment in customer-facing contexts

• Solid understanding of IT systems, networking basics, and PC configuration

• Strong customer service orientation and ability to foster trusted relationships

• A valid driving license is mandatory
