Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct field service tasks, which include on-site installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs.

• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through prompt, clear, and effective communication, along with excellent service delivery.

• Be prepared to travel on short notice to assist fellow Field Service Engineers when necessary.

• Timely completion of all required documentation is expected.

• Report any product quality issues to the appropriate personnel.

• Collaborate closely with the Sales team and Field Applications Specialists.

• Achieve KPIs that measure performance and overall impact.

• Primarily provide support to customers throughout the UK and mainland Europe, with occasional travel to more distant locations.

• Expect to undertake around 10–12 days of overnight travel each month.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be based in the UK, preferably in the London, Cambridge, or Oxford area.

• Essential to have previous experience with electro-mechanical and automated systems.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors is desirable.

• Previous involvement with liquid handling systems is a plus.

• Must be able to travel on short notice within the UK and Europe, with at least 60% of travel being overnight.

• Strong focus on customer service is required.

• Excellent communication skills are necessary.

• A proactive and flexible attitude towards workload is essential.

• Educational qualifications equivalent to at least one of the following: Engineering Apprenticeship with HNC, or HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

• A self-motivated team player is preferred.

• Must possess a valid passport and driving license.

• Being located near a major airport is advantageous.
