Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Schedule and deliver technical training to distributor personnel, contractors, dealers, and/or installers.

• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of Franklin Electric products.

• Oversee and assist during product installations.

• Promote and represent Franklin Electric products and initiatives at tradeshows and special events.

• Perform product demonstrations as required.

• Gather and report marketing intelligence on competitive products, industry distribution or personnel changes, as well as customer needs or preferences.

• Prepare and submit weekly and special reports that highlight issues at specific locations and/or with customers or products.

• Interpret technical instructions presented in mathematical or diagram formats and manage both abstract and concrete variables.

• Communicate information and address inquiries in one-on-one and small-group settings with customers, clients, the public, and team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Three to five years of experience in water systems or a related industry (preferred).

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience (required).

• Must be based in the Northeast region of the United States.

• Willingness to travel 70 percent of the time, including up to 50 percent overnight travel.

• Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.

• Strong communication skills with customers, clients, the general public, and coworkers.

• Self-driven, collaborative, diligent, competitive, and results-oriented approach.
