Field Service Engineer 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on XR/CT/NM medical equipment.

• Provide service for medical equipment within hospitals or healthcare systems to ensure the effective delivery of healthcare services.

• Foster and maintain customer relationships.

• Ensure prompt communication, resolution, and appropriate follow-up to enhance customer satisfaction.

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols.

• Meet all regulatory and compliance standards.

• Record all work performed, including the ordering of parts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, military education, or a High School Diploma/GED combined with over 6 years of experience in servicing electrical equipment.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in servicing imaging equipment.

• Possession of a valid driver's license.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

• Successful completion of GEHC's standard background check, including a post-offer drug screening.

• Adherence to customer access policies, which may include required immunizations and additional drug tests or background checks as applicable.

• Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull unassisted up to 35 lbs.

• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch or squat, kneel or crawl, and sit or stand for extended periods.

• Proficiency in reaching at, above, and below shoulder level; flexing or extending the neck; and demonstrating good hand and finger dexterity.

• Availability for after-hours work and/or a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
