This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead a team of 4–6 Safety Specialists assigned to specific geographic areas.
• Drive significant sales growth at customer sites, enhance customer retention, and acquire new clients.
• Oversee the sales development and productivity of associates.
• Uphold company policies and ensure adherence to safe practices.
• Supervise hiring and onboarding processes for new associates.
• Provide training to associates on market dynamics, product knowledge, and standard operating procedures.
• Inspire and mentor specialists to boost sales through effective sales path management and negotiation techniques.
• Facilitate weekly coaching sessions and conduct monthly reviews of productivity and quotas.
• Aid representatives in resolving customer issues related to resources, departments, credit, fulfillment, and pricing.
• Develop financial sales budgets informed by historical sales data, trends, and growth forecasts.
• Create or utilize reporting tools for daily updates on territory and customer status.
• Establish monthly targets based on sales budgets and objectives and assess outcomes.
• Ensure that variable compensation is accurately calculated and timely processed.
• Manage and document personnel-related issues, involving HR when necessary.
• Conduct team discussions on market trends and national resources.
• Promote the adoption and enhancement of Salesforce.com to streamline the sales process.
• Develop Salesforce tools and customer profiles to aid in business growth.
• Coordinate sales initiatives with regional teams.
• Participate in marketing campaigns, trade shows, and customer events.
• Foster vendor relationships through engagement with local vendor representatives.
• Execute other relevant duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Preferred: 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Prior sales experience in the Commercial Industrial Market is preferred.
• Capability to engage strategically with all management levels.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as a member of both local and national teams.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Capacity to work independently and thrive under pressure to meet deadlines.
• College Degree is preferred.
• Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
• Experience with Salesforce.com is essential.
• Robust organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Willingness to travel 60% within the Central Division.
