This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
β’ Collaborate with Grainger customers across various sectors
β’ Perform hazard and risk evaluations to pinpoint customer needs and opportunities for program enhancement
β’ Develop solutions utilizing Grainger's products, services, and resources to mitigate hazards and risks
β’ Work alongside the designated Grainger sales team to formulate strategies for targeted customers within a specified territory
β’ Evaluate customer facilities to uncover hazards and potential risks
β’ Engage both internal and external resources to address customer EHS challenges
β’ Create implementation plans ranked by risk based on the likelihood and severity of potential hazards
β’ Confirm that proposed and executed solutions effectively address customer business issues
β’ Use post-implementation success to identify future customer requirements
β’ Remain updated on safety regulations and industry trends, sharing relevant information with customers
β’ Educate customers on technological advancements and innovations impacting their businesses
β’ Build and sustain relationships with customers and business partners
β’ Enhance customer knowledge and utilization of Grainger's standard products and services
β’ Report directly to the Senior Manager of Safety
β’ A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Safety, Environmental Science, or Public Health is required
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Environmental Health and Safety industry is required
β’ Proven experience in conducting workplace safety assessments, hazard mitigation, and compliance improvement
β’ Familiarity with Safety, Health, and Environmental practices as well as OSHA regulations
β’ Background in safety consulting and managing safety programs
β’ Experience in project management and collaboration to meet objectives
β’ CSP certification is preferred
