Field Property Claims Adjuster II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations into losses, assess coverage, prepare property estimates, and assist customers throughout the claims process with professionalism and care.

• Manage a varied array of claims related to personal, commercial, and agricultural properties, including specialized agricultural risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in field property claims, ideally with an insurance provider.

• Extensive knowledge in inspecting, assessing, and estimating structural property losses across different property types, including safe access to roofs, basements, crawl spaces, and other loss areas as necessary.

• Capability to investigate, assess, negotiate, and resolve personal, commercial, and agricultural property claims from initial notice through settlement.

• Proficient in interpreting insurance policies, endorsements, and coverage provisions to make informed claim decisions.

• Experience in identifying and referring potentially fraudulent claims for further examination.

• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with a customer-centric approach and the capacity to effectively manage expectations, navigate challenging conversations, and provide exceptional service throughout the claims process.

• A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software is preferred.

• Experience in handling agricultural property claims, including agricultural structures, equipment, and farm risks is preferred.

• A college degree is preferred.

• Industry designations such as CPCU, AIC, SCLA, or other insurance-related credentials are highly preferred.
