This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wyoming.
β’ Investigate and validate loss facts for intricate homeowner claims.
β’ Assess coverage and damages while adjusting and negotiating claims within established authority limits.
β’ Generate detailed damage estimates for complex first-party homeowner claims.
β’ Oversee and manage moderate to complex residential property claims, including certain farm and ranch claims.
β’ Perform on-site inspections and handle claims virtually.
β’ Cultivate relationships with both internal and external customers.
β’ Interpret regulatory compliance and uphold fair claims practices.
β’ Negotiate settlements, issue settlement payments, and document activities in complex files.
β’ Apply policy interpretations across various company-written policy types.
β’ Support leadership with both formal and informal training sessions.
β’ Suggest process enhancements.
β’ Act as a peer mentor and provide guidance to junior staff.
β’ No supervisory responsibilities are included.
β’ Must be a resident of Wyoming, ideally near Cheyenne, Casper, Gillette, Rock Springs, or Laramie.
β’ Strong skills in estimating.
β’ Proficient in using Xactimate.
β’ Capable of managing difficult situations while providing an outstanding customer experience.
β’ Experience with agricultural, farm, and ranch claims is highly preferred.
β’ Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.
β’ Individuals with an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and must not maintain outside appointments during their employment.
β’ Applicants possessing a resident producer license must formally surrender that license as directed by the licensing team.
β’ Remote employees must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions.
β’ Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is required.
β’ Applicable active licenses may include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or relevant Appraiser License.
β’ A $1,000 Licensing Sign-On Bonus may be available for those with applicable active licenses.
