Field Property Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Provide claim services from the initial report of loss until resolution.

• Travel across Burlington, Middlesex, Mercer, and Monmouth Counties to assess property damage.

• Investigate coverage and appraise losses associated with weather, water, wind, and various property damages.

• Create or review damage estimates utilizing Xactimate.

• Negotiate settlements and process settlement payments.

• Assess settlement options to ensure compliance with regulations and uphold fair claims practices.

• Assist customers throughout the claims process.

• Manage claims through both in-person field inspections and virtual inspection technologies.

• Document activities within complex files spanning multiple lines of business.

• Cultivate relationships with both internal and external clients.

• Oversee personal schedule and daily routing while fulfilling customer obligations and business goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred experience in claims handling.

• In-depth knowledge of all policy types offered by the company.

• Strong foundational skills in estimating for creating or auditing damage estimates on complex first-party homeowners' claims.

• Familiarity with Xactimate is essential.

• Understanding of business case analyses, case management, claims administration, insurance claims, property claims, quality management, relationship management, and time management.

• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with leadership, colleagues, contractors, vendors, and clients.

• Capacity to travel throughout Burlington, Middlesex, Mercer, and Monmouth Counties.

• Ideal candidate should reside in Central or Southern New Jersey.

• Authorization to work in the United States; the company does not provide sponsorship for work visas.

• Must have a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
