This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of homeowners' property claims from initiation to resolution.
• Verify loss details, establish coverage, evaluate damages, and negotiate settlements within the designated authority.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of claims, encompassing supplements, Additional Living Expense (ALE) claims, contents, and personal property losses.
• Collaborate effectively with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient claims handling.
• Provide outstanding customer service through clear, timely communication.
• Keep customers informed and supported throughout the entire claims process.
• Generate damage estimates for complex first-party homeowner losses.
• Foster relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Interpret regulatory compliance and uphold fair claims practices.
• Negotiate settlements, process settlement payments, and maintain documentation in complex files.
• Apply policy interpretations across various company-written policy types.
• Assist leadership with both formal and informal training initiatives.
• Suggest process enhancements.
• No supervisory responsibilities involved.
• Proven experience as a Field Property Adjuster.
• Ideally based in the central or eastern regions of Massachusetts.
• Proficient in Xactimate software.
• Strong background in claims management, including supplements, Additional Living Expense (ALE), contents, and full claim ownership.
• Excellent organizational capabilities.
• Proactive mindset.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing claims in both field and desk environments is highly desirable.
• Active adjuster license or a qualifying license for reciprocity in relevant states is strongly preferred.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.
• Individuals with an active insurance license must terminate all current appointments before onboarding and are prohibited from holding outside appointments during employment.
• Applicants with a resident producer license are required to surrender that license when directed by the licensing team.
• Must have a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace.
• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is required.
• Eligibility for a $1,000 Licensing Sign-on Bonus for applicable active licenses.
