Field Property Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough investigations and assessments of homeowners' property claims from initiation to conclusion.

• Verify loss details, establish coverage, evaluate damages, and negotiate settlements within designated authority limits.

• Oversee the entire claims process, encompassing supplements, Additional Living Expense claims, contents, and personal property losses.

• Collaborate closely with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient claims handling.

• Maintain clear and timely communication, keeping customers updated throughout the claims journey.

• Generate damage estimates for complex first-party homeowner losses.

• Foster relationships with both internal and external clients.

• Interpret and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and fair claims practices.

• Negotiate settlements, process settlement payments, and document all claim-related activities.

• Apply policy interpretations across various company-written policy types.

• Support leadership with both formal and informal training initiatives.

• Suggest enhancements to existing processes.

• No supervisory responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced Field Property Adjuster.

• Preferably located in the central or eastern regions of Massachusetts.

• Proficient in Xactimate software.

• Strong background in claims management, including supplements, ALE, contents, and complete claim ownership.

• Experience in both field and desk claim handling is highly preferred.

• Active adjuster license or a license eligible for reciprocity in relevant states is strongly preferred.

• Active insurance license holders must terminate any current appointments before onboarding and cannot hold outside appointments during employment.

• Applicants with a resident producer license must relinquish that license when instructed by the licensing team.

• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

• Must have a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is essential.

• Must adhere to applicable insurance licensing regulations.
