Field Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Evaluate assigned projects for scope, constructability, and sequencing.

β€’ Perform pre-construction walkouts with vendors and internal teams.

β€’ Confirm locate ticket status and ensure valid locates prior to excavation.

β€’ Issue necessary 48-hour notifications.

β€’ Coordinate specialty services, permits, traffic control needs, and jurisdictional approvals.

β€’ Identify and address field conflicts with engineering and management.

β€’ Hold daily meetings with foremen and vendors to discuss work plans and sequencing.

β€’ Monitor GPM check-ins and updates on production.

β€’ Validate vendor documentation, certifications, equipment, and adherence to construction methods.

β€’ Carry out site inspections and QA/QC evaluations.

β€’ Ensure compliance with safety, PPE, drilling, depth, aerial attachments, HOA, restoration, and permits.

β€’ Resolve technical issues, map discrepancies, damages, and unforeseen field conditions.

β€’ Submit daily and project reports, including EOS, damage, MOT, and QA/QC documentation.

β€’ Communicate with management, clients, municipalities, jurisdictions, crews, homeowners, and the public.

β€’ Monitor material availability and requests for traffic control.

β€’ Assist with yard organization, equipment readiness, and crew training.

β€’ Ensure daily field execution, productivity, compliance, reporting, and timely achievement of production goals.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A valid, unrestricted Driver's License.

β€’ In-depth knowledge of aerial and underground design and construction standards as they pertain to customers and governmental regulations.

β€’ Capability to lift approximately 50 pounds, safely ascend ladders, and work in extreme weather conditions.

β€’ Proficiency in reading and interpreting maps, drawings, and diagrams for fiber construction.

β€’ Willingness to travel to various job sites within the designated market.
