This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Assist in the execution of commercial and small business utility energy efficiency initiatives, concentrating on on-site inspections and customer interaction within the Delmarva Power and Light service area.

• Perform on-site inspections and verification tasks to validate project eligibility, assess installation quality, and ensure adherence to program regulations and quality benchmarks.

• Act as the primary field representative, engaging with service providers and trade partners.

• Oversee projects from application to completion, encompassing documentation review, inspection tracking, corrective actions, and project closeout.

• Collaborate with external program staff regarding project intake, scheduling, documentation assessment, and problem resolution.

• Offer daily field and operational assistance to participating subcontractors.

• Facilitate subcontractor onboarding and ongoing communication.

• Maintain program documentation, inspection logs, and tracking systems.

• Identify opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency, customer experience, inspection workflows, and quality control.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Communications, Environmental Studies, Business Administration, or a related discipline; relevant experience may be taken into account (one year of experience may replace one year of education).

• Must reside within the DPL service region on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional work experience is required.

• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.

• Willingness to travel regularly within the DPL service area and occasionally for overnight trips.

• Must have access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel.

• Ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, field-oriented setting.
