This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead field operations teams to achieve daily performance objectives and surpass customer expectations.
• Collaborate with supervisors and technicians in the field, offering support, guidance, and coaching.
• Recruit, train, and cultivate a high-performing team while establishing personalized development pathways.
• Oversee, evaluate, and review installation, maintenance, and repair activities to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Provide and uphold a safe working environment, ensuring safety equipment, functional tools, and adherence to safety regulations.
• Assist in resolving complex customer issues and take part in addressing escalated technical problems.
• Ensure that network outages are promptly addressed and that repairs comply with company and regulatory standards.
• Engage in city meetings, local industry gatherings, and other community initiatives.
• Manage contractor usage effectively.
• Control budgets, prepare CIRs, and process P&L and purchase orders.
• Carry out additional responsibilities that align with the company’s Purpose, Brand Principles, and Organizational Values.
• Minimum of four years of experience leading a technical operations team within the telecommunications sector.
• Strong understanding of the maintenance and operation of fiber-optic networks.
• Familiarity with sales and marketing, engineering, and accounting practices.
• Continued education beyond high school is preferred; an Associate degree is beneficial, and a Bachelor’s degree is even better.
• Strong technical aptitude with the capability to keep up with product advancements.
• Knowledge of FCC regulations, testing procedures, and documentation standards.
• Outstanding leadership, time management, and project management abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules and in adverse weather conditions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Power BI, and MS Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for travel to various systems and meetings with field technicians.
