This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Supervise the creation of proposals, bids, quotations, and various customer-facing documents related to products and services.
• Identify and onboard new electrical contractors.
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure the execution of multiple projects.
• Collaborate with Procurement leaders to evaluate vendors, negotiate pricing, and resolve product or service issues.
• Oversee project scope, timelines, and budgets utilizing appropriate verification methods.
• Lead and manage ESS Field Service Technicians to ensure safe and efficient customer service while meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
• Assist in resource planning and review daily schedules for technicians.
• Manage the service partner network through recruitment, training, quality control, and audits.
• Conduct technical work, including on-the-job training and complex Level 2 technical tasks.
• Act as the first point of escalation for field service technicians and service partners.
• Work in collaboration with Sales, Business Operations, Field Operations, Procurement, customers, and stakeholders to enhance and optimize ESS services.
• Report directly to the Director of ESS Field Services.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Field Service technical role.
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership position is preferred.
• Experience in the renewables sector is preferred.
• Technical background in power electronics or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrical safe work practices.
• Ability to adhere to OSHA Standards.
• Strong leadership, independent thinking, organizational, planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS, etc.) is required.
• Experience with Salesforce, CRMs, or other Field Service Management platforms is preferred.
