Field Operation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management of daily field operations to ensure that Target Kilometers and coverage plans are successfully met.

• Coordinate the scheduling of drivers, ensure their readiness, complete training, facilitate telematics onboarding, and conduct compliance checks.

• Enhance operational productivity by monitoring active vehicles, mapping hours, assessing daily output, and evaluating resource availability.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, parking regulations, disk handling, and equipment guidelines.

• Address accidents, public relations issues, and technical failures within the required Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframes.

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports that provide accurate performance metrics.

• Identify performance deficiencies, implement corrective measures, and escalate risks in a timely manner.

• Supervise fleet readiness, the distribution of equipment, management of consumables, and chain-of-custody processes.

• Assist in resource scaling, including ramping up and down, to align with operational demands.

• Maintain effective communication with both internal teams and external client partners.

• Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as asset utilization, coverage completion, target kilometers, system hours, quality control, safety, reporting SLA, incident response, ramp-up/ramp-down, expense management, and corrective actions.

• Strong experience in field operations, fleet management, logistics, mobility, or mapping projects.

• Capability to manage and mentor remote field teams.

• Exceptional organizational and analytical abilities.

• Strong communication skills with an aptitude for effective escalation.

• Proficiency in spreadsheets, dashboards, telematics, and field reporting tools.

• Experience in training, performance audits, or quality control is advantageous.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license (preference for minimum 1-year validity).

• Ability to operate across various time zones.
