Field Metrology Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Conduct calibrations and upkeep of client equipment, with a focus on liquid handling devices.

• Establish metrology timelines and inspection protocols for specific equipment in collaboration with clients.

• Monitor client interactions and travel to client locations as necessary for service calls.

• Independently manage your working hours.

• Guarantee the reliability and adherence to standards of measurement equipment at client locations.

• Execute on-site tasks in accordance with relevant regulations.

• Develop and sustain trusting relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction.

• Contribute to the expansion of a start-up within a larger organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum educational background: equivalent to Bac+2/+3 in quality assurance or as a laboratory technician.

• DRIVER'S LICENSE REQUIRED.

• Preferably, possess knowledge in metrology.

• Experience in volumetry is a plus.

• High level of autonomy.

• Attention to detail.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• Excellent client relationship management skills.

• Willingness to travel regularly within the Grand Est and Nord regions, and occasionally to other parts of France.

• Availability for frequent overnight stays during the week.

• Commitment to a multi-month training and onboarding period in Nantes, including field observations.
