Field Merchandiser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Travel to convenience store locations within the designated territory.

• Deliver products directly to the specified stores.

• Merchandise and stock items to enhance visibility and boost sales.

• Create appealing displays and ensure shelf organization is maintained.

• Keep product displays, signage, and planogram accuracy in check.

• Monitor and inventory stock levels, restock items, and fulfill orders as necessary.

• Place orders as required.

• Finalize invoicing, reporting, route documentation, and post-visit reports.

• Generate invoices for restock orders and guarantee prompt, accurate deliveries.

• Cultivate positive professional relationships with store managers and staff.

• Efficiently and independently manage the route.

• Conduct multiple store visits each day and cover up to 100 miles daily.

• Represent Max Distributing in a professional manner at every account.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred experience in retail, merchandising, customer service, delivery, hospitality, sales, route, or account management.

• The job description specifies a preference for 2–3 years of DSD delivery and retail merchandising experience.

• Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building abilities.

• Dependable, self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.

• Strong skills in time management, organization, problem-solving, and integrity.

• Comfortable using mobile applications, smartphones, tablets, and basic technology.

• Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

• Capacity to climb and work at heights between 9 to 12 feet.

• Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, and crouch.

• Capability to lift, stock, inspect, and merchandise products throughout the day.

• Must reside within the assigned territory.

• Valid U.S. driver’s license in good standing for at least 3 years, along with an acceptable driving record.

• Willingness and ability to travel overnight at least two nights per week or up to 30%, with travel expenses reimbursed.

• Openness to travel outside the assigned geography with prior notice.

• Ability to engage in professional selling discussions with retail store personnel.

• Must be able to conduct multiple store visits daily and drive up to 100 miles each day.

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
