Field Medical Science Liaison, Hepatology – South West

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Implement the external engagement strategy that aligns with the therapeutic portfolio.

• Execute the external engagement plan in accordance with therapy area strategies.

• Identify External Experts, professional groups, decision-makers, and other key stakeholders.

• Compliantly address unsolicited information requests related to GSK medicines and their indications.

• Distribute critical safety information to healthcare professionals.

• Facilitate scientific exchanges to educate healthcare providers on the proper use of medicines.

• Present scientific and pipeline information to formulary committees and healthcare professionals.

• Maintain expertise in the latest developments in the scientific and therapeutic landscape, including competitor medicines and vaccines.

• Participate in and contribute to regional account planning and training sessions.

• Attend national and regional scientific/medical meetings to collect medical voice-of-customer insights.

• Assist with clinical development initiatives, GSK-sponsored studies, and site performance optimization.

• Share insights into GSK's research interests and respond to inquiries regarding research projects.

• Conduct discussions and meetings with steering committee members, advisory board members, and consultants.

• Provide scientific training for GSK sales representatives.

• Train individual healthcare providers to represent GSK and support speaker training events.

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, market access, and other matrix colleagues on strategies focused on patients and business outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Pharm. D or Ph. D, DNP, or MD with a focus on medical or clinical practice.

• Minimum of two years of experience in pharmacology and pharmacotherapy for humans.

• Proven experience in applying pharmacology and pharmacotherapy knowledge in a clinical environment.

• Must reside within the specified territory.

• Residency or post-doctoral training in a clinical or pharmaceutical practice setting is preferred.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or as a medical liaison is preferred.

• Experience in a specific therapeutic area is a plus.

• Previous clinical experience with direct or indirect decision-making authority for patient care is preferred.

• Above-average computer literacy, including familiarity with software applications.

• Qualified candidates may be considered for the Senior MSL position.
