This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Conduct research, assess, and propose tradeshows, conferences, and industry events that align with the ideal customer profile and revenue objectives.
• Maintain a continuously updated 12-month event calendar.
• Oversee event organizers, vendors, and venues, including negotiating sponsorships, booth spaces, speaking opportunities, and additional services.
• Plan and manage events from start to finish, covering booth design and logistics, promotional items, collateral, lead capture, badge scanners, audio-visual needs, catering, hotel arrangements, and team travel plans.
• Attend each event in person as the primary on-site contact; set up and dismantle booths and resolve any issues that arise.
• Prepare attending team members with objectives, discussion points, target accounts, and logistical details.
• Collaborate with sales to arrange pre-show meetings, host dinners and customer events, and ensure timely capture, qualification, and follow-up of leads.
• Organize pre- and post-event email outreach, landing page creation, paid promotions, and social media campaigns.
• Manage event-related expenditures, monitor costs, provide accurate forecasts, identify potential risks, and make necessary trade-off decisions.
• Establish event KPIs and generate post-event reports detailing leads, meetings, pipeline, ROI, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event coordination, preferably in B2B or technology sectors.
• Proven history of managing events from conception to completion, even on a smaller scale.
• Experience overseeing an events budget, including forecasting, expense tracking, and optimizing ROI.
• Proficient in defining KPIs and creating reports that link event activities to pipeline and revenue.
• Experience utilizing AI to enhance or automate tasks in event marketing; this is essential.
• Familiarity with HubSpot.
• Strong project management abilities across timelines, budgets, vendors, and various components.
• Comfortable negotiating with vendors and event organizers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to remain calm under pressure and troubleshoot issues in real-time.
• Willing and able to travel 30 to 50% during peak event seasons throughout North America, with potential travel to Europe as the company grows.
• Fully remote position available for candidates located in the US or Canada.
• Must reside within approximately an hour of a major airport hub with frequent direct flights.
• Must possess the right to work in the country of residence; visa sponsorship is not available.
