Marketing & Events Coordinator, Youth Tournaments & Events

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement designated marketing initiatives for LOVB youth tournaments and events in accordance with predefined campaign strategies, schedules, templates, and procedures.

• Collaborate with club teams and internal stakeholders to coordinate marketing deliverables, monitor deadlines, and follow up on any pending materials or information.

• Manage and distribute approved tournament marketing kits, templates, digital resources, and additional assets for LOVB Clubs.

• Aid in local marketing efforts for newly established clubs by organizing approved materials and campaign deliverables.

• Assist in marketing and on-site activation for selected LOVB-owned tournaments, including the preparation of materials, signage, promotional assets, and event resources.

• Coordinate activation requirements with Brand, Content, Partnerships, Operations, and other internal teams.

• Evaluate tournament marketing materials and event touchpoints against LOVB brand standards, flagging any inconsistencies or queries.

• Contribute to on-site engagement activities for athletes, families, fans, sponsors, and the community during significant events.

• Monitor and compile data on registration, attendance, engagement, and other marketing metrics using existing reporting tools.

• Collect feedback and insights from clubs, internal partners, and events, organizing findings for Marketing leadership.

• Keep organized project files, calendars, marketing assets, event documentation, and status updates.

• Work collaboratively with LOVB Clubs and internal partners under the guidance of Youth Marketing leadership.

• Excellent organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple assignments, deadlines, and details.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills that are clear and professional.

• Ability to adhere to established processes while proactively asking questions and escalating issues when necessary.

• Keen attention to detail when reviewing marketing materials, brand assets, schedules, and event deliverables.

• Proficiency in collaborating effectively with colleagues and club partners in a distributed environment.

• Comfort with basic marketing, project management, presentation, spreadsheet, and digital collaboration tools.

• Ability to gather, organize, and accurately report essential marketing and event performance data.

• Genuine interest in marketing, event activation, sports, youth programs, or community engagement.

• Preferred experience with Canva, Google Workspace, email marketing platforms, project management tools, or similar systems.

• Prior internship, part-time, volunteer, or professional experience in sports, events, marketing, or youth programming is preferred.

• Familiarity with volleyball or the youth sports landscape is advantageous.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sports Management, Event Management, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.

• 0-2 years of relevant professional, internship, part-time, or volunteer experience in marketing, events, sports, or a related field.

• Preferred exposure to event marketing, digital marketing, grassroots marketing, or community-based programs.

• Experience working or volunteering in youth sports or volleyball is a plus.

• Capability to operate a computer and utilize a keyboard, mouse, and video conferencing tools.

• Ability to communicate effectively via video, phone, and written channels.

• Willingness to support selected events that may take place during evenings or weekends.
