Field Data Specialist – Travel Position

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Independently travel by vehicle or aircraft to various commercial properties such as shopping centers, warehouses, and office parks.

• Utilize 3D cameras, laser measurement tools, and specialized software to capture accurate property data.

• Record building measurements.

• Document the locations of sprinkler systems and HVAC units.

• Note details regarding windows, signage, and landscaping.

• Document utility meters, dumpsters, and parking information.

• Thoroughly record both interior and exterior features.

• Collect data and take measurements on-site.

• Input data and verify its accuracy.

• Communicate with property managers to obtain access details for appointments and arrival times.

• Reach out to the Regional Manager, trainers, mentors, and colleagues as necessary.

• Generate high-quality commercial real estate property data that aids in decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience or background in mapping, property appraisal, inspections, GIS, data collection, data entry, land surveying, or detail-oriented outdoor fieldwork.

• Willingness to travel out of state from Monday to Friday and return home most weekends.

• Must have a reliable vehicle that can accommodate a 6-foot ladder and facilitate long-distance travel.

• Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Ability to climb ladders up to 30 feet high.

• Capacity to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Proficient in using technology, including iPads, laptops, mobile applications, and photography equipment.

• Ability to accurately follow detailed instructions.

• Must be focused, organized, and self-motivated while working independently.

• Comfortable communicating clearly, concisely, professionally, assertively, and proactively.

• Experience in site surveys, inspections, CAD, GIS mapping, data entry, construction, HVAC, electrical work, land surveying, utility locating, archaeology, drone photography, or other remote fieldwork.
