Field Data Specialist – Travel Position

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive or fly independently to commercial properties, including shopping centers, warehouses, and office parks.

• Utilize 3D cameras, laser measurement tools, and specialized software to capture precise property data.

• Document the measurements of buildings.

• Record the locations of sprinklers and HVAC systems.

• Document windows, signage, and landscaping features.

• Capture details regarding utility meters, dumpsters, and parking.

• Accurately document both interior and exterior features that require meticulous attention.

• Collect data and take measurements as needed.

• Ensure data input is accurate.

• Communicate with property managers to arrange access information for appointments and arrival times.

• Proactively engage with the Regional Manager, trainers, mentors, and peers when necessary.

• Generate precise property data to inform decision-making in the commercial real estate sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in mapping, property appraisal, inspections, GIS, data collection, data entry, land surveying, or detail-oriented outdoor fieldwork.

• Comfortable using ladders that reach heights of up to 30 feet.

• Willingness to travel out of state from Monday to Friday and usually return home on weekends.

• Possess a reliable vehicle that can accommodate a 6-foot ladder and is suitable for long-distance travel.

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Capability to climb ladders up to 30 feet.

• Able to lift weights of up to 50 lbs.

• Proficient in using iPads, laptops, mobile applications, and photography technology.

• Capable of accurately following detailed instructions.

• Focused, organized, and self-motivated when working independently.

• Prior experience in site surveys, inspections, CAD, GIS mapping, or data entry.

• Background in construction, HVAC, electrical, or other hands-on fields.

• Experience in land surveying, utility locating, archaeology, drone photography, or other remote fieldwork.
