Field Data Specialist – Travel Position

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Independently drive or fly to commercial properties such as shopping centers, warehouses, and office parks

• Capture accurate property data utilizing 3D cameras, laser measurement tools, and specialized software

• Record building measurements

• Log sprinkler and HVAC locations

• Document windows, signage, and landscaping features

• Record details of utility meters, dumpsters, and parking areas

• Precisely document both interior and exterior features

• Collect data and take measurements

• Enter data and ensure its accuracy

• Engage with property managers to obtain access information for appointments and arrival times

• Communicate with the Regional Manager and seek guidance from trainers, mentors, and peers as necessary

• Generate high-quality property data that aids in commercial real estate decision-making

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in mapping, property appraisal, inspections, GIS, data collection, data entry, land surveying, or outdoor, detail-oriented fieldwork is advantageous

• Comfortable using ladders up to 30 feet

• Willing to travel out of state Monday through Friday and return home most weekends

• Possess a reliable vehicle capable of transporting a 6-foot ladder and suitable for long-distance travel

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Climb ladders up to 30 feet

• Lift up to 50 lbs.

• Proficient with technology, including iPads, laptops, mobile applications, and photography equipment

• Follow detailed instructions accurately and meticulously

• Maintain focus, organization, and self-motivation while working independently

• Experience in site surveys, inspections, CAD, GIS mapping, or data entry is preferred

• Background in construction, HVAC, electrical, or similar hands-on fields is beneficial

• Experience in land surveying, utility locating, archaeology, drone photography, or other remote fieldwork is advantageous

• Ability to communicate clearly, succinctly, professionally, assertively, and proactively
