Field Data Specialist – Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Travel independently by vehicle or aircraft to various commercial properties, such as shopping centers, warehouses, and office parks.

• Utilize 3D cameras, laser measurement tools, and specialized software to capture accurate property data.

• Measure and record building dimensions.

• Document locations of sprinklers and HVAC systems.

• Record details about windows, signage, and landscaping.

• Note utility meters, dumpsters, parking specifics, and both interior and exterior features.

• Collect data and conduct measurements in the field.

• Input gathered data with a focus on precision.

• Liaise with property managers to coordinate access information, appointments, and arrival schedules.

• Proactively communicate with the Regional Manager, seeking guidance from trainers, mentors, and colleagues.

• Generate precise property data to assist in decision-making within the commercial real estate sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience or a background in mapping, property appraisal, inspections, GIS, data collection, data entry, land surveying, or detail-oriented outdoor fieldwork.

• Willingness to travel out of state from Monday to Friday, returning home most weekends.

• Possession of a dependable vehicle capable of transporting a 6-foot ladder and facilitating long-distance travel.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Capability to climb ladders up to 30 feet.

• Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.

• Proficient in using iPads, laptops, mobile applications, photography equipment, 3D cameras, laser measurement tools, and specialized software.

• Competence in accurately following detailed instructions.

• Self-motivated, organized, and focused, with a comfort level in working independently.

• Experience in site surveys, inspections, CAD, GIS mapping, or data entry.

• Background in construction, HVAC, electrical work, or similar hands-on fields.

• Familiarity with land surveying, utility locating, archaeology, drone photography, or other remote fieldwork.

• Comfortable communicating clearly and professionally with property managers, Regional Managers, trainers, mentors, and colleagues.
