This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Offer continuous contact center and virtual assistance to patients receiving complex neurological therapies.
β’ Provide tailored, high-touch telephonic support through incoming and outgoing calls, virtual meetings, email, chat, and text messaging.
β’ Deliver personalized treatment and therapy instructions along with educational resources.
β’ Connect patients with supplementary resources and collaborate with Field Nurse Educators, HUB/Certified Pharmacy, and other involved parties.
β’ Establish trust-based relationships with patients and caregivers through empathy and emotional intelligence.
β’ Effectively and empathetically communicate complex information.
β’ Accurately complete patient engagements based on established criteria.
β’ Utilize a motivational interviewing model to identify adherence challenges.
β’ Coach patients through initiation and support processes to promote adherence to therapy.
β’ Work collaboratively within a POD structure to pinpoint gaps, obstacles, and improvements in processes and patient experiences.
β’ Partner with patients, brand, and operational teams to ensure successful program outcomes.
β’ Provide managers with insights from patient feedback, as well as product and industry information.
β’ Report adverse events and product quality concerns in accordance with MLS and client policies.
β’ Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with MLS, client, and industry regulations.
β’ An associateβs degree in nursing, combined with experience in patient education.
β’ At least 2 years of experience working for (or contracting with) a pharmaceutical company in a call center setting.
β’ A current, unrestricted RN or NP license.
β’ Knowledge of neurological conditions and/or rare diseases.
β’ Strong clinical skills with experience in medication compliance, specialty pharmacy knowledge, and motivational interviewing techniques.
β’ Proven ability to collaborate with various cross-functional partners and key stakeholders.
β’ High emotional intelligence and the capacity to demonstrate empathy.
β’ Ability to clearly communicate complex information in a manner that resonates with patients.
β’ Proficient in navigating technology across multiple platforms, computer screens, and technical components, including virtual engagement platforms, telephony systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Suite.
β’ Advanced written and verbal communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities.
β’ Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of working through ambiguity.
β’ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
β’ Capability to maintain cases and complete calls punctually.
β’ Ability to conduct compliant conversations and documentation in a high-volume environment.
β’ Must maintain patient confidentiality using a headset and ensure a private, distraction-free home office setting.
β’ Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating fluently in English.
β’ Capable of effective communication (hearing, listening, speaking), with or without reasonable accommodations.
