Field Auto Appraiser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Develop or review detailed damage estimates for both first and third-party material damage claims.

• Guide claims through to their appropriate resolution.

• Provide training, mentorship, quality control, and technical support on material damage claims.

• Collaborate directly with repair shops and clients.

• Conduct on-site assessments and vehicle evaluations.

• Negotiate claim settlements and process payments.

• Maintain documentation in intricate files spanning multiple lines.

• Assess settlement options to ensure compliance with regulations and adherence to fair claims practices.

• Foster relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing various auto claims.

• Experience in performing vehicle inspections.

• Proficiency in using CCC ONE estimating software.

• Strong foundational knowledge in auto estimating.

• Thorough understanding of different types of company policies.

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and principles of fair claims practices.

• Strong critical thinking and financial analysis abilities.

• Candidates holding an active insurance license must terminate existing appointments prior to onboarding and are not allowed to hold outside appointments during employment.

• Applicants with a resident producer license must relinquish it as directed by the licensing team.

• Authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

• A dedicated home workspace that is free from distractions.

• Reliable internet connection with a minimum of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload speeds.
