Field Applications Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Create strategic plans for the implementation of IsoPSA at CDx customer laboratories.

• Carry out IsoPSA IVD implementations at CDx customer laboratories.

• Develop and implement workflow/lab planning, training, accessioning plans, assay validation, quality control plans, LIS integration, and result reporting.

• Provide continuous technical support to CDx IVD customers following implementation.

• Collaborate with CDx customers and third-party diagnostic manufacturers like Roche to address implementation challenges.

• Train other application specialists to carry out the program effectively.

• Collaborate with the commercial CDx team.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Report directly to the Field Applications Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Science.

• MT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) certification is preferred.

• A minimum of five years of experience in a clinical or CLIA lab environment.

• Technical knowledge and experience necessary to implement IsoPSA in a Clinical Laboratory.

• Willingness to travel extensively, up to 80% of the time.

• Ability to establish, execute, and instruct other application specialists on the program.

• Capacity to work efficiently and collaboratively with the commercial CDx team.

• Knowledge of and adherence to good laboratory practices, including safety, HIPAA, confidentiality, and regulatory standards.

• Strong critical thinking and decisive judgment abilities.

• Self-motivated individual with a high level of enthusiasm and a desire to learn.

• Detail-oriented and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills for laboratory equipment.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

• Proficient computer skills with demonstrated expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.com.

• Familiarity with industry EMR and LIS systems is a plus.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Regular use of a personal vehicle, including travel out of state.

• Flexibility to work outside standard business hours.
